PSL Cambridge Scholarship Programme
Designated by the French Government as an « Excellence Initiative », PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres)
Research University is the result of a strategic alliance between twenty prestigious French institutions sharing
common values and practices, based on scientific excellence and on the outstanding potential of their
students.
As part of its partnership with the University of Cambridge, PSL is offering funding for two students to take
Masters degrees in 2015 – 2016 at one of the following PSL member institutions:

Chimie ParisTech

Ecole normale supérieure (ENS)

ESPCI ParisTech (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles)

Mines ParisTech

Observatoire de Paris

Université Paris-Dauphine

Who can apply?
You are eligible to apply if

you are currently studying for a first degree or for a Master degree at the University of Cambridge

you are normally resident in the UK

you apply to take a Masters at PSL in 2015-16, including a research project undertaken in a PSL
laboratory, and you are offered admission.
Application Procedure
Based on the priority areas of cooperation between PSL and the University of Cambridge, the following
courses given at PSL are the focus of the PSL Cambridge Scholarship Programme.

Research thoroughly the course in which you are interested, via the above links, including academic
requirements and level of French language needed

Inform PSL of your choice ([email protected]) at the latest on 16 January 2015

Apply online following the procedure indicated for the chosen course
Courses predominantly taught in English:

Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (PSL Institute of Innovation & Technology)

Master (M2) in Applied Mathematics – Analysis and Probabilities (Université Paris-Dauphine)

Master in Physics (ENS International Centre for Fundamental Physics and its interfaces)

Interdisciplinary Master in Life Sciences (ENS)

Master (M2) in Bioengineering and Innovation in Neurosciences (ESPCI)

Master (M2) in Science of materials and nano-objects (ESPCI)
Courses partly or totally taught in French:

Master (M1) de Mathématiques (ENS)

Master (M2) in International Economics and Development (Université Paris-Dauphine)

Masters (M2) in Astrophysique, Dynamique des systèmes gravitationnels, Outils et Systèmes de
l’Astronomie et de l’Espace (Observatoire de Paris)

Master (M2) in Sensors, measurement and instrumentation (ESPCI)

Masters (M2) in Chemistry : Chimie analytique, physique et théorique, Chimie moléculaire, Chimie
et physico-chimie des matériaux, Ingénierie chimique (Chimie ParisTech, ESPCI, ENS)
What will the scholarship pay?
The exact value of the scholarship will depend on other sources of funding available to the selected
candidates, but the maximum award will pay for:

tuition fees

annual stipend (sufficient for a single person and including accommodation costs)
