We will welcome presentations covering a wide range of cognitive disturbances, to stimulate discussions around cognitive interactions, and on the mechanisms and roles of different cognitive disorders in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. One of the topics will be the minimal (or bodily) self, which concerns both motor and perceptual processes. Specialists of the cerebellum and motor disorders will facilitate knowledge transfer. The symposium will be completed by conferences on narrative self and autobiographical memory. As an extension of perception disorders, a special topic will be focused on recent findings at the level of the retina, which illustrate the extent to which the mechanisms of cognitive impairments should be explored.
