Dr. Umberto Luzzana
is member of the FEFAC Task Force on Contaminants and Additives in Fish
Feeds and is employed as Marketing and Product Manager by Skretting, where he is also part of the
Skretting Sustainability Global Team. He earned his PhD from the University of Milan, and has been a
Visiting Scholar at the University of Washington and a Project Manager at the University of Milan. In
addition to his experience as fish nutritionist both in research and industry positions, he has been an
Expert Evaluator and an External Advisor for the European Commission. Dr. Luzzana co-authored more
than 30 peer-reviewed papers on fish nutrition and is serving as a reviewer for several scientific
journals.
