Cancer 
(Jeans) 
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths (around 13% of all
deaths) in 2008. Each year CCJ supports International Union Against Cancer to promote ways to ease the
global burden of cancer.
On Monday 27, 2012, CCJ will take part in the fundraiser event Jump into Jeans for World Children
Cancer Day.
To take part in this event, CCJ students are given the opportunity to wear jeans trousers with the full
upper uniform in return for a donation.
