volume les doses en conséquence. La taille de la MC
traitée peut également influer sur la dose prescrite
pour les autres MC : une MC volumineuse recevra
une dose intégrale qui permettra de limiter les
doses prescrites aux autres MC afin de diminuer
le risque de réaction parenchymateuse cérébrale
postradique.
Au fil du temps, la RC s’est clairement imposée
comme un traitement non plus palliatif, mais
curatif des MC. Elle a donc pris une partie de la
place de la chirurgie des MC. Elle doit cependant
être incluse dans un projet thérapeutique reposant
sur un raisonnement multidisciplinaire qui évalue
la maladie générale, les MC et le patient. ■
