TOEIC Practice

Dear Mr. Holden,
I am (13)_____________ concerning the products I ordered from your company, J&D
A) write
B) writing
C) written
D) wiring.
Enterprises, on 3 February. For this particular shipment, there were, unfortunately, several
mishaps.
First, it appears that there was some miscommunication concerning quantities. We wished
to order 13 dish washers (model n˚ 37/0009) and only received 4.
Second, our records show (14)_____________ the consignment should have been received by
A) what
B) when
C) that
D) thing
our services on 7 February. Our shipping department was prepared to unload the
merchandise on this day, but since the truck hadn’t arrived, we were forced to send our
workers home without pay.
Finally, among the 10 washing machines we ordered (model n˚ 57/2781), two were damaged
during shipment. I have enclosed photos of the said machines in the attachments.
In order to maintain our otherwise excellent business relationship, I hope you will
(15)_____________ these problems by leading an investigation into this matter.
A) speckle
B) tackle
C) freckle
D) spectacle
If you could get back to us with an explanation, it would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
© Groupe Eyrolles
