Master Professionnel LANGUES ET AFFAIRES ECONOMIQUES INTERNATIONALES Spécialisation Négociation Commerciale Internationale FORMATION Le Master NCI est un master professionnel tourné et orienté vers l’international. Cette formation prépare les étudiants à devenir des négociateurs trilingues capables de s’intégrer à l’évolution actuelle du commerce international et à la mondialisation des marchés. Grâce aux cours dispensés par des professionnels de haut niveau, les étudiants acquièrent des connaissances linguistiques et culturelles, ainsi que de solides compétences dans le domaine de la négociation, du marketing et du commerce international. La dimension multiculturelle du Master NCI est favorisée par la diversité culturelle des étudiants. Plusieurs simulations sont prévues au cours de la formation comme par exemple les jeux Mondial Manager et Country Manager qui amènent les étudiants à se familiariser avec le monde du travail international. Le contexte international de la formation est également assuré par des cours interactifs de négociation, de marketing et de management interculturel. La majeure partie des cours est dispensée en anglais (la maitrise de l’anglais étant obligatoire). En outre, des cours d’études de cas dans une langue B (allemand, arabe, chinois, espagnol, italien, portugais, russe) sont assurés afin de consolider les connaissances linguistiques des étudiants. La plupart du travail consiste en l’élaboration de projets d’équipe dans le but d’assimiler les techniques pour le travail en groupe si important dans le monde professionnel. ECHANGES Différents sortes d’échanges internationaux sont prévues au cours de la formation. Les partenariats avec La Roosevelt University aux Etats Unis ainsi qu’avec la Murdoch University en Australie permettent aux étudiants d’effectuer des échanges avec les étudiants et les professeures de ces universités, qui viennent enseigner au sein du Master NCI. Les étudiants ont également une possibilité de se rendre dans les universités partenaires afin de consolider leur expérience internationale. Les étudiants des universités partenaires effectuent également un court séjour au sein de Master NCI, ce qui contribue à l’interaction multiculturelle. Le master NCI permet aux diplômés d’accéder aux postes dans les services commerciaux, d’import-export, de marketing, de communication, de relations publiques au sein de PME et de grandes entreprises. En parallèle des cours, les étudiants participent à différents types d’associations avec lesquelles ils mènent à bien des projets professionnels. ASSOCIATIONS HORIZON 3 Les étudiants sont en charge de promouvoir le Master NCI auprès des étudiants et du monde professionnel. (via le site internet du Master et de différentes rencontres avec les professionnels). Ils sont également en charge de l’organisation de la Cérémonie de remise des diplômes pour la promotion précédente. SORBONNE SYMPOSIUM Les étudiants s’occupent de l’organisation du Colloque Annuel du Master, avec une dimension internationale autour d’une problématique économique avec la participation des intervenants du monde professionnel. CONFÉRENCE Les étudiants organisent chaque semaine des conférences animées par les professionnels du commerce international sur un sujet particulier. Ils sont également en charge d’élaborer un compte rendu hebdomadaire de ces conférences. SORBONNE CONSEIL : Les étudiants réalisent des études de marché pour des entreprises travaillant à l’international. PARTENARIAT Les étudiants collaborent étroitement avec les universités partenaires du Master et s’occupent de l’organisation des échanges et des voyages entre les universités. Contenu de la formation UE Négociation : - Négociation commerciale : Méthodologie de la négociation, stratégies, tactiques et comportements du négociateur, simulations filmées de négociation commerciale. -Négociation interculturelle : (français/anglais) : Analyse des différents comportements culturels en négociation, études de cas, et mémoire de recherche . UE Marketing : - Marketing international (en anglais) : Etudes de cas, prospection internationale, marketing mix. Jeu Country Manager - Etudes de cas en marketing (en langue B) Marketing et études de cas dans la langue B parmi : allemand, arabe, chinois, espagnol, italien, portugais et russe. UE Commerce International : - Jeu Mondial Manager : Organisation du commerce à l’export, maîtrise des risques en commerce international, simulation de gestion d’entreprises à l’international. - Monographie Interculturelle : Mémoire de recherche sur l’observation socio-économique d’une entreprise travaillant à l’international. UE Communication : -Introduction à l’interculturel : Anthropologie culturelle et anthropologie des organisations. - Séminaire d’intégration : Développement personnel, coaching et étude du profil de chaque étudiant. -Travail de groupe et insertion professionnelle : Etudes de cas réels qui misent sur l’apprentissage de la prise d’initiative en entreprise, permettant de développer le sens du travail en équipe. - Travail en groupes multiculturels : Analyse anthropologique des comportements et leur mise en application à travers des simulations. UE Associations : - Gestion des associations : Implication de l’étudiant dans une des quatre associations où ils doivent mener à bien différents projets. UE Stage : - Stage en entreprise (minimum 6 mois) : Stage au sein d’une entreprise ayant une activité à l’international, situé en France ou à l’étranger. - Rapport de stage et soutenance orale : Rapport de stage qui devra être remis et soutenu avant la fin décembre. EDUCATION International Business Negotiation is a Professional Master’s Degree, oriented internationally. This course prepares students to become trilingual negotiators able to integrate with current development in international trade and global markets. With classes taught by high qualified professionals, students acquire language and cultural skills, as well as strong skills in negotiating, marketing and international trade. The multicultural dimension of this Master is promoted by the cultural diversity of students. Several simulations are provided during the training such as two games World Manager and Country Manager that help students to become familiar with the international world of work. The international training is also provided through interactive courses of negotiation, marketing and intercultural management. Most courses are taught in English (the advanced level of English is obligatory). There are also the case studies in language B (German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian) which are provided to consolidate the language skills of students. Most of the works are done as team projects in order to assimilate the techniques of group work which are so important in the professional world. EXCHANGES Different types of international exchanges are planned during the year. The partnerships with Roosevelt University in the United States and with the Murdoch University in Australia allow the students exchanges with teachers and students of those universities. Our students have also a possibility to visit these countries to acquire an international experience and improve their English. Students from partnership universities can also come to France in order to develop the multicultural exchanges. The master allows graduates to apply for the job in business services, import-export, marketing, communications, public relations services in SMEs and large corporations. At the same time students participate in different associations where they carry out different professional projects. ASSOCIATIONS HORIZON 3 Students are responsible for promoting the NCI Master to other students and to the professional world (via the website of the Master and various meetings with professionals). They are also in charge of organizing the graduation ceremony for the promotion before. SORBONNE SYMPOSIUM Students are involved in organizing the annual conference of the Master, with a global economic problem around, with the participation of the business world professionals. CONFERENCE The students organize weekly lectures given by professionals of international trade on a particular topic. They are also responsible for development of a weekly report of these conferences. SORBONNE COUNCIL Students carry out market research for international companies. PARTNERSHIP Students work closely with partner universities involved in the Master and organize the travel and exchange between universities. MASTER CURRICULUM Negotiation: Associations: -Commercial negotiation: Negotiation methodology, strategies, tactics and negotiator’s behavior, filmed simulations of business negotiations. -Intercultural negotiation (French/English): Analysis of the various cultural behaviors in a negotiation situation, case studies and research works. -Association management: Each student must join one of the four existing associations and help carry out assigned projects. Marketing: -International Marketing (in English): Case studies, international prospection, marketing mix. Game Country Manager -Marketing case studies (in language B): Marketing and case studies in language B: German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. International Trade: -World Manager Game: Simulation of export trade organization, control of risks related to international trade, management simulations of international companies. -Intercultural Research paper: Research paper focusing on the international company. Communication: -Introduction to intercultural management: Anthropological studies of cultures and organizations. Integration seminar: Personal development, personal coaching and charting of each student’s profile. -Group tasks and professional insertion: Real cases studies that aim at teaching how to take initiative in business situations and foster the development of teamwork spirit. -Exercises in Multicultural groups: Anthropological analysis of different behaviors and verification of the theories through simulations. Internship: -Internship (6 months minimum): Internship within a company that has an international activity, based in France or abroad. -Internship report and its oral presentation: Internship report that must be submitted and presented orally before the end of December.
