“Lead a Company within a Company”
Did you know P&G invented the concept of brands and brand management? Over the years, we’ve remained consistently on
the cutting edge of marketing, always finding new and exciting ways to reach consumers. This is why some of the world’s best
marketing pros and business leaders started at P&G. Our marketing philosophy can be summed up in a simple concept:
“Consumer is boss” and we believe we have two moments to win consumers’ preference: when they choose to buy our
product in the store and when they use it at home – what we call the ‘two moments of truth’”. The first moment is what we
focus on when we market products.
An internship at our P&G site offers you the opportunity to test your marketing knowledge and management abilities in reallife situations and obtain insights into the world of Marketing in a fast moving consumer goods company. You will be given
specific projects and responsibilities from day one, working with passionate people and receiving both formal training as well
as day-to-day coaching from the project coach, likely a Brand Manager.
You will be working in multi-functional Marketing Operation Teams – organized around brands - consisting of managers with
different functional expertise and background (Sales, Finance, Product Supply, Advertising and Media agencies), or in a Brand
Operation team. The Brand Operation team has 4 fields of expertise: media planning, direct marketing programs, in-store
marketing and influencer marketing (press relations, partnerships, etc).
These are some examples of missions that you could do:
You will execute the digital campaign on a new product launch, coordinate brand events with external agencies, or
analyze competitive media spending on a specific category.
You will develop tools to enable our sales representatives to best execute our innovation plans in-store.
You will gather, analyze and review all of last year's Beauty in-store events and communication for both P&G and its
competitors. You will work with the in-store marketing team, the top 5 sales teams, the multi-functional Marketing
Operation Team and the key agency media partners to gather all information. You will analyze the results, present
your findings to the brand leadership team up to a Marketing Director and recommend action steps that step
change the effectiveness of our in-store communication..
