Le Futur Simple et Le Futur Proche
1) LE FUTUR SIMPLE
A la forme affirmative :
Pour parler de l'avenir, il suffit de faire précéder la base verbale du verbe de WILL, à
toutes les personnes:
La base verbale, c'est le verbe sans TO. Par exemple, pour le verbe GO:
Conjugaison :
à la forme affirmative
Sujet WILL verbe complément
I will go to the cinema.
You will go to the cinema.
He/she will go to the cinema.
We will go to the cinema.
You will go to the cinema.
They will go to the cinema.
A la forme interrogative :
on fait l'inversion sujet auxiliaire, comme d'habitude:
Ex :Will you go to the cinema ? Iras-tu au cinéma?
Yes, I will.
No, I won't.
A la forme négative :
on utilise en effet WON'T (qui est la contraction de WILL NOT, qu'on peut aussi utiliser).
Ex : I won't do my homework. Je ne ferai pas mon travail.
Exception!!
En anglais, on n'emploie JAMAIS le futur dans une proposition de temps. On
emploie alors le présent.
When I'm rich, I will buy a big car.
Quand je serai riche, je m'achèterai une grosse voiture.

2) LE FUTUR PROCHE
Lorsque l'action va se passer bientôt, qu'elle est prévue, on peut utiliser le futur proche.
On utilise alors l'expression BE GOING TO qu'on conjugue. Il faut alors savoir conjuguer
BE au présent.
Le futur proche correspond à notre expression française: 'je vais... '
Exemples:
Je vais m'acheter une voiture > I'm going to buy a car.
Elle va prendre le train = She's going to take the train.
Conjugaison :
à la forme affirmative
I am going to buy a house
You are going to buy a house
He-She is going to buy a house
We are going to buy a house
You are going to buy a house
They are going to buy a house
à la forme négative
I am not going to buy a house
You are not going to buy a house
He-She is not going to buy a house
We are not going to buy a house
You are not going to buy a house
They are not going to buy a house
à la forme interrogative
Am I going to buy a house ?
Are you going to buy a house ?
Is he-she going to buy a house ?
Are we going to buy a house ?
Are you going to buy a house ?
Are they going to buy a house ?
