La nourriture traditionnelle
La nourriture en Haïti est basée sur le poulet, les
légumes, les fruits et les céréales comme le riz.
On mange habituellement du riz avec des fèves, du
poulet, du poisson et de la viande de chèvre. On
mange du riz accompagné de légumes tels que les
aubergines, les carottes, et les épinards. Le
«maïs moulu» est composé de maïs en poudre qui
ressemble à de la farine.
On mange la mangue, le melon, la papaye, la noix
de coco, l'avocat et la tomate. On cultive aussi le
cacao avec lequel on fait le chocolat.
