following points learned in 7th grade:

Verbs AVOIR, ÊTRE, ALLER, FAIRE, METTRE, VOULOIR,

Verbs of the 3 groups in ER/IR/RE and irregular verbs

BRING YOUR SUMMER ASSESSMENT WITH YOU TO CLASS ON
THE FIRST DAY BACK AT SCHOOL
1) Go to Blendspace to locate materials (songs, power points,
videos).
2) Review vocabulary on Quizlet. Go to your class sets or access my
materials by typing my name “ Maryse_peressin-Hay”.
- Review the following : la famille and physical descriptions, la
maison, furniture, rooms in the house, prepositions, colors,
interrogative words, possessive adjectives, la nourriture et les
aliments (all food sets), asking questions in a restaurant, places
in town, buildings, directions, professions and shops, market
vocabulary.
3) -Play Quizlet games (Racer and Squatter) to practice, use the
flashcards, listen to the words pronunciation for all above
topics.
4) Log on to Conjuguemos (code is 63519) and practice the verb
conjugations:
- Go to French verbs on the left menu
- Select Interactive moods
- Practice numbers 1,2,3, 4 .
- Practice several times a week a minimum of 5 minutes every
session. Try to improve your scores!
5) Make sure you memorize the meaning of the verbs that you are
practicing.
5) Exercices
A - Complete the following charts of verbs without your notes !
B - When the chart is completed, check your answers using
Conjuguemos or Blendspcace materials.

Fill out the weather chart for one week during the summer.
Try to vary the weather patterns you are describing (you don’t

Remember to use negative sentences when you can!
a) Put the date in French
b) Write a full sentence to describe the weather on the day . Use

c) Look at the example and do the same for the whole week.
