A preposition represents the connection
and relationship between a verb and a
noun or between two nouns.

The prepositions “between” and “among”Les prépositions “between” et “among”
The word “between” is used when
discussing exactly two nouns. The word
“among” is used when discussing more
than two nouns.
Le mot "between" porte sur deux
