A lot of fun (Book 2 Lesson 3, pp. 45 & 52)
LEXIQUE
GRAMMAIRE
I enjoy having fun (+) / You don’t need a lot of money (-) / What do they like doing at weekends? (?)
aux formes négative (do not = don’t) et interrogative.
Aux formes négative et interrogative, do/don’t devient does/doesn’t.
Bob likes money and clothes (+) / He doesn’t like music (-) / Does he watch the same series as you? (?)
a/ des questions ouvertes (Wh- questions) : What shops do you go to? What kind of clothes does your sister wear?
Where does Jill go at weekends?
b/ des questions fermées (Yes/No questions) : Do you like this shop? Do your parents like your friends?
Does your mum know that you like this girl?
c/ des questions alternatives (avec or : Do you prefer rock or rap? Does your best friend live in France or in the US, Ethan?
I hate working. I prefer games/playing.
Shia loves rock concerts/going to rock concerts.
Max’s birthday/ presents / friends…
Max’s birthday’s on Saturday = Max’s birthday is on Saturday.
J’associe les pronoms personnels sujets (I, you…) aux déterminants possessifs correspondants (my, your, his/her…)
I want…for my birthday / What do you need for your party? / He doesn’t want…for his birthday
Je distingue les pronoms interrogatifs how much (quantité, prix) et how many (nombre)
. How much money have you got? / How much has Bruce got? / How much is it? / How much are the shoes?
. How many brushes do they buy? / How many CDs have you got?
