Paris Museum Pass information Important information Pass must be used on consecutive days Children under 18yrs are free in most museums, and up to 12yrs in most monuments. Most museums and monuments are generally closed Monday or Tuesday and on January 1st, May 1st and December 25. (subject to change) Most Museums: no entry fee on the first Sunday of each month. Monuments: no entry fee on the first Sunday of each month from October 1st to May 31st inclusive. Rail Plus issue the actual pass. You are free to use your pass anytime. However, as soon as the starting date is written on the back your pass is activated and the validity of 2 or 4 days will start running thereafter.
