Guidelines
Oral evaluation
In addition to the written( 60%) and listening sections (15%) of the midterm (which will be
administered on your class’s scheduled day), you will be having an oral evaluation(25%) in class
on Thursday, January 23th or Friday, January 24th.
Directions: On the above mentioned days, you will prepare your answers for the following
questions in French and you will be brought up one at a time and will be asked the following
questions and will answer them in French in complete sentences. You will be graded on
understanding of question, vocabulary used, correct grammar, pronunciation and clarity. You
cannot use your notes and will memorize your responses.
You must be able to answer the following questions:
1. Comment tu t’appelles?
2. Quand est ton anniversaire?
3. Quel âge as tu?
4. D’où es tu?
5. Où est-ce que tu habites?
6. Comment décris tu ta personnalité?
7. Comment décris tu ton physique?
8. Quel temps fait –il aujourd’hui?
9. Qu’est – ce que tu préfères? ( Dis trios choses que tu préfères faire)
10. Est-ce que tu parles français?
11. Est-ce que tu parles au télèphone?
12. Combien d’heures tu étudies?

For the 7th grade French Midterm, 60% of your grade will be based on the written section, 15%
on the listening-comprehension section which will be on the day of your class’s scheduled
