It’s hard to miss the imposing coat of arm on the label. No doubt, Antoine Pouget comes
from the vineyard of the prestigious “Château Pouget”. It pays homage to the founder of the
vineyard, François-Antoine Pouget, King counsellor during Louis XV reign...
The Duke de Richelieu is at the origin of the coat of arms and motto of Château Pouget.

Since 1906, the estate has been in the hands of the Guillemet family. Technical director Lucien
Guillemet puts his great experience into making sure his wine expresses all the beauty of
these gravel soils envied the world over. He runs Château Pouget with conviction, but also
subtlety.
Antoine Pouget is a feminine wine, rounded and accessible, fruity and gourmet. The 2010 vintage
reveals subtle notes of mild spices (cinnamon). Silky and smooth, this wine possesses a balance and
harmony which characterise the best Margaux wines.
