A surface of a waveguide (16) comprises a pattern that is transparent for the light at the optical wavelength and diffracts the light at another optical wavelength (lambda2). A photoreceptor (12) for the former optical wavelength is designed as a pin photodiode comprising a stack of heavily doped p-type semiconductor layers, intrinsic semiconductor layers and heavily doped N-type semiconductor layers. The filter comprises a top silicon layer and a lower silicon oxide index layers. An independent claim is also included for a manufacturing method for an optical duplexer.
