The Rossy Cancer Network congratulates Larry Rossy on his Order of Quebec appointment
The Rossy Cancer Network (RCN) extends warm congratulations to Larry Rossy following his
appointment as an Officer of the Order of Quebec. Through his family foundation, Mr. Rossy has had a
profound impact on the community, supporting the arts and education as well as making significant
contributions to health care.
An exceptional $30 million gift from the Larry and Cookie Rossy Family Foundation was the springboard
for launching the Rossy Cancer Network, a partnership bringing together the McGill University Faculty of
Medicine, St. Mary’s Hospital Center, the Jewish General Hospital and the McGill University Health
Network (MUHC).
This groundbreaking collaboration has as its mission to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency
across the continuum of care for cancer patients, with the aim of creating a network that is on par with the
best in the world.
The leadership and staff of the RCN and its partner foundations — the Cedars Cancer Institute of the
MUHC, the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation — unite in
congratulating Mr. Rossy for this well-deserved honour and take this opportunity to thank him for his
generosity and vision in transforming the future of patient care.

Le Réseau de cancérologie Rossy félicite Larry Rossy sur sa nomination à l’Ordre du Québec
C’est avec grand plaisir que le Réseau de cancérologie Rossy (RCR) a pris connaissance de l’annonce
de la nomination de M. Larry Rossy à titre d’Officier de l’Ordre national du Québec. Par le biais de sa
fondation familiale, M. Rossy a eu un impact profond sur la communauté, tant par son soutient des arts et
de l’éducation que par sa contribution importante dans le domaine de la santé.
Un don exceptionnel de 30 million $ de la part de la Fondation familiale Larry et Cookie Rossy a permis
de mettre sur pied le Réseau de cancérologie Rossy, un partenariat entre la faculté de médecine de
l’Université McGill, le Centre hospitalier de St. Mary, l’Hôpital général juif et le Centre universitaire de
santé McGill (CUSM).
Cette collaboration novatrice cherche à améliorer la qualité, l’efficacité et l’efficience dans le continuum
des soins aux patients atteints de cancer dans l’optique de créer un réseau qui se hisse parmi les
meilleurs au monde.
Les membres du personnel et de la direction, ainsi que les fondations partenaires du RCR — l’Institut des
Cèdres au CUSM, la Fondation de l’Hôpital général juif et la Fondation de l’Hôpital St. Mary — unissent
leur voix pour féliciter M. Rossy de cet insigne honneur et pour témoigner leur appréciation de sa
générosité et de sa vision de transformer le futur des soins aux patients.
