This is to officially inform you of some major official protocols that you are expected to abide by as an Ambassador of Youth Opportunities. We, the management of Youth Opportunities, have decided on the following steps which will be implemented from the day of your appointment. Please read them carefully and provide your consent accordingly. 1. Duration of the Program: Your appointment will be effective from February 01, 2022 for a period of one-year, which is subject to extension based on your performance and management’s decision. 2. Form of Engagement: You will be engaged with Youth Opportunities on a voluntary basis. 3. Involvement with Similar Organizations: During this period, we expect you to be committed with Youth Opportunities and encourage you not to be employed or associated in any form with any other similar organizations. If you envisage to do so, please let the management know. If you are already involved with any similar organizations in a form of Employment/Volunteer, you are expected to discontinue that before starting your work with Youth Opportunities. 4. Expected Time Commitment: You are expected to commit at least 10 hours per week to Youth Opportunities. 5. Report to Supervisor: You will be assigned a supervisor and you are expected to maintain a clear communication with your supervisor. 6. Communication Protocol: Email will be the primary mode of communication. We expect to reach you through email. For any informal communication, you can write to us there. 7. Roles and Responsibilities: - Post an Opportunity: You will be responsible for submitting an opportunity for the Youth Opportunities website on a regular basis. - Source Different Opportunities: You need to find and share links of different opportunities with your supervisor for the website of Youth Opportunities. - Facebook Group: You will be responsible for managing a Facebook group for your designated country. You will be given a target to expand the size of the group and share opportunities on that group regularly. - Share Opportunities Published in YO website: Share the opportunities published in YO website in different relevant Facebook groups to connect with more youth of your designated country. - Form Partnership: You are expected to form partnerships with relevant student clubs and other institutions. - Organize Events under YO: You are expected to organize at least two events in 6 months under YO. - Ongoing and Future Initiatives of YO: Help the team of Youth Opportunities with their ongoing and future initiatives. 8. Evaluation: There will be a monthly evaluation from your supervisor so that you get feedback and suggestions on your work. In case of unsatisfactory performance or any kind of misconduct, the management has the right to terminate the employment. 9. Benefits: - Certificate: After the successful completion of your period, you will receive a certificate. Please note that if you cannot complete the one-year tenure, you will not receive any certificate. - Nomination for International Programs: The best performers of the Youth Opportunities team are often nominated for international programs. Please ensure your quality of work and professionalism so that we can recommend you as a representative of Youth Opportunities to different programs. - Recommendation Letter: If you need any recommendation letter for applying to different programs, you need to communicate to us at least one week prior to getting a recommendation. Recommendation will depend on your performance and commitment to your work and the organization. Also, you will be able to ask for recommendations after you arrange at-least one workshop/session or any kind of event on behalf of Youth Opportunities. ___________________________________________________________________________ Youth Opportunities Ltd. Discontinuation and Termination: If you want to discontinue as a Country Ambassador, you need to inform us at least one month prior to that. Also, you will need to provide a written letter why you want to discontinue so that the management is aware of the reason. If your performance is not up to the mark, then the management will be forced to terminate your term as a Country Ambassador. 11. Confidentiality: Please note that you are expected to maintain confidentiality of the work and communication done with Youth Opportunities. 12. Sexual Harassment: Any unwanted sexual nature behavior, including verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct shown towards anyone without the individual’s consent, is considered sexual harassment, whether online or offline. Any sexual advances or invitations are also considered as sexual harassment. All kinds of sexual harassment is prohibited whether it takes place within Youth Opportunities premises or outside, including at social events, business trips, training sessions, conferences etc. arranged by Youth Opportunities. The management is entitled to make necessary changes in the stipulated terms for the benefit of the organization. If you need any clarification, please let the management know about it.
