Notions « Myth and heroes » I am going to talk about the notion of Myths and Heroes. First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion: A myth can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon. To illustrate this notion, I will talk about modern-day heroes. We can wonder how an ordinary person can make the world a better place. First, I will explain why ordinary people can become heroes in our eyes. Then, I will reflect on the influence or impact they have on societies. In my opinion to being a hero we don't need to be famous, we have to have some qualities and using them in order to improve the society. I will begin to illustrate this notion with the DR Martin Luther King, he is a hero because he is assassinated whereas he praised the values of brotherhood and equality in the 1960s. More we can illustrate this notion with the case of Malala a Pakistani schoolgirl about my age who was the victim of extremists, indeed Malala was shot in the head by a taliban, she survived and now she is famous all over the world because she defends the education for girls in Pakistan .In her district the talibans refuse education for girl and burn schools. Mala is a hero because she won't keep silence face to the tyranny. Finally with the case of Rosa Parks who is a black woman who sat on a white only seat in a bus. She was arrested for that and was charged with discorderly conduct. Then there were protests against segregation of black people in the USA. She will be an icon for civil rights and thanks to her, black people are less discriminated against. To conclude, History was marked by people who defended the populations. Today, they are considered as heroes by some people. As far as I am concerned, I think heroes are the people who face many obstacles in their lives and who are taking risks to achieve their goals. These heroes can become symbols or models for some people.
