Dear Prof. Galli,
As a Master student at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) of Lyon in France, I am more
than interested in applying for an internship in your research center. I have just entered my fourth year
in the Energy and Environmental Engineering Department of the INSA, whose one of the(our) main
objectives is to acquire a strong learning experience in the research field. This internship should take
place from April to August 2017, for a total of twenty weeks.
I’ve turned towards you because I find the research topics you are working on highly attractive(cette

plus pour une personne.par example: I 've turned towards because i find the contents of your research
topics appealing and exciting , such as developing methods from first principles on materials in order to
apply them to photovoltaics. Through my specialization in Energy and Environment, I have been led to
build up a hands-on and theoretical knowledge in Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Physical Chemistry
and Fluid Mechanics. Working by your side would therefore allow me to go deeper in the experimental
approach of these fields, in which I show all my interest.
I believe that my determination to take part in a research project in your institute in one of your institute
research projects is more than ever significant. The INSA places indeed practical work at the center of
education, thus I have developed over my years of study, with a strong interest in experimental practices
and analysis in order to solve a specific problem.
I have also learned to be efficient and highly organized with my personal work as well as in group work
for a shared project, such that I am able to adapt to any situation and show total involvement in it.
Moreover, due to my personal associative experience, I have acquired a strong sense of responsibility
which I think defines me in the way I manage assignments.
