It is AORTIC’s seventh international cancer conference Tuesday,10 November and follows on the success of AORTIC 2007 in Cape Town and AORTIC 2005 in Dakar. The theme of AORTIC 2009 is Cancer in Africa - the New Reality and will focus on all Pre-conference workshops aspects of cancer care and management from prevention and diagnoses to treatment and palliation. It will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 11-14 November 2009. Wednesday, 11 November AORTIC is committed to making cancer control a priority on the health care agendas of all African countries and one of the organisation’s most effective tools is its biennial Pre-conference symposia international conference. The scientific programme will promote and facilitate an international exchange of research and practical information among practitioners Opening Ceremony working in cancer care, in Africa and around the world. AORTIC 2009 REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1.Registration will only be valid once all monies are received. 2.All payments to be made payable to AGENDA DESTINATION MANAGEMENT. 3.All cancellations must be received in writing. - Cancellations 90 days prior to the beginning of the conference will receive a full refund less a 10% administration fee. - Cancellations between 90 and 30 days will be refunded 50% of the fees less the administration fees; if registration fees are outstanding, the delegate will be liable for 50% of the conference fees. - No refunds will be provided for cancellations or no-shows within 30 days of the start of the conference and the delegate will be liable for the full conference fee. 4.Completed registrations will be acknowledged within 7 days. 5.Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered only if the Conference Secretariat is informed in writing. 6.All fees are payable in US Dollars (USD). South African delegates may pay in South African Rand (ZAR) on request. Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged back to the delegate.
