Contents and objectives
The present course gives an introduction to current research in macroeconomics, especially
monetary macroeconomics.
The first part of the course will be taught by Professor Hülsmann. It will deal with the theo-
ry of capital and with the impact of monetary interventions on capital accumulation.
The second part of the course will be taught by Dr. Olga Peniaz. It will deal with current
problems of monetary macroeconomics.
The main objective of the course is to familiarise the participants with current approaches
to macroeconomic research. A secondary objective is to train them in communicating in
English.
