Class Structure:
I. Presentation: group A summarizes reading, explains key terms, takes questions (15-20 m)
II. Drill: group B asks each group one question about the reading (15-20 m)
III. Lecture: instructor discusses concepts, takes questions (20-30 m)
IV. Activity: students discuss or debate a topical question within their groups (15-20 m)
Basic Parameters: Students should come to class having read and understood the articles
assigned and the terms presented therein. Questions about concepts or procedures may be
asked freely during any part of the class. Communication between students and the
instructor, and between students and other students must be entirely in English.
