Si vous êtes en retard pour votre rendez-vous, il pourrait s'avérer nécessaire de remettre votre examen à un
autre jour. Si vous ne pouvez présenter à votre examen, veuillez communiquer avec le 843-1545 afin que nous
puissions vous fixer un autre rendez-vous et utiliser le temps consacré à votre rendez-vous initial pour une autre
personne. Veuillez suivre les préparatifs nécessaires pour assurer le bon déroulement de votre examen.
___ ENTÉROCOLITE
|___| À 16 h 00 le jour précédant l'examen, vous devez prendre 3 à 4 comprimés de
Dulcolax 5 mg (ce produit est disponible dans toutes les pharmacies). Le jour
même de l'examen, vous devez prendre un petit-déjeuner sec (c.-à-d. une rotie ou
un muffin sec, accompagné de café et/ou de jus). Il se peut qu'une certaine forme
de sedation soit requise. Ainsi, tous les patients ont pour instruction d'être
accompagnés par une personne qui peut les ramener à la maison. Si le patient a
fait l'objet d'une sédation, celui-ci ne peut alors pas conduire un véhicule.
___ MYÉLOGRAMME-DISCOGRAMME
|___| Si vous avez un rendez-vous l=avant-midi, vous ne devez pas manger après minuit
la veille de l=examen. Si votre rendez-vous est l=après-midi, vous pouvez prendre
un léger déjeuner avant 8h00 du matin et ne rien manger ou boire après cela.
Durant les deux premiers jours (48 heures) suivant le myélogramme - discogramme,
on recommandé au patient de rester couché au lit avec la tête légèrement élevée
(45 degrés). Le patient ne peut se lever que pour aller aux toilettes et pour manger.
On recommande également au patient de boire beaucoup de liquides au cours des
deux jours suivant l'examen.
Le jour de l'examen, le patient doit être accompagné par une personne qui est en
mesure de le ramener à la maison. Le patient ne pourra pas conduire son
automobile.

If you are late for your appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule your examination for another day. If
you cannot keep your appointment, please call 843-1545 so that we may offer you another appointment and
use your appointment time for someone else. Please follow the appropriate preparation to ensure proper
completion of your examination.
___ ENTEROCOLYSIS
|___| At 4:00 p.m. on the day before the examination take 3 to 4 tablets of Dulcolax 5 mg
(available at any pharmacy). Have a dry breakfast (i.e., dry toast or muffin,
coffee/juice). Some sedation may be required, so all patients are instructed to be
accompanied by someone who can bring them home. The patient may not drive a
car if he/she has received sedation.
___ MYELOGRAM/DISCOGRAM
|___| For a morning appointment, you must not eat after midnight on the night prior to
your appointment. For an afternoon appointment, you may have a small breakfast
before 08:00 and then nothing to eat or drink afterwards.
For two (2) days (48 hrs) following the myelogram/discogram, the patient is
instructed to remain in bed with the head slightly elevated (45o). The patient may
get up only to go to the bathroom and to eat meals. The patient is also instructed
to drink plenty of fluids for the two (2) days following the examination.
On the day of the examination, the patient must be accompanied by someone who
is able to bring them home. The patient may not drive his/her car.
