 which only those refusing to face facts (/bow to the facts /look reality in the face) still doubt (/still call in doubt), on
top of questioning the quality of scientists’ work.

 All they’ve done so far is talk (/is engage in empty talk /is offer fine words)
alors que ce n'est pas seulement l'"avenir de la planète" qui est en jeu, mais surtout celui des générations futures, à
commencer par les enfants qui naissent aujourd'hui.
 while not only the planet’s sake is at stake, but that of future generations as well,
 when what’s at stake isn’t just the planet’s future, but also that of generations to come,
starting with newborns (of today).
