Introduction
CODESRIA organises from 10 July to 4 August 2006
the third session of the Institute on Health, Politics and
Society in Africa on the theme Traditional Forms of
Health Provisioning in Africa.
During the Institute, CODESRIA Documentation and
Information Centre (CODICE) will give documentary
and information support to the participants and
resource persons. It is within this framework that
CODICE has compiled this bibliography which lists a
number of documents on health in general but also on
specific themes such as traditional health systems,
traditional medicine, traditional medical practitioners,
medicinal plants.
The bibliography is divided into two parts. In the first
part are indicated documents available at CODICE and
in the second one there are useful links to electronic full
text documents available on the web sites of IDRC
http://www.idrc.ca and IRD
http://www.bondy.idr.fr/pleins_textes/
Specific services corresponding to your needs can be
offered to you upon requests in the form of data base
searches and access to documentary resources of
CODICE and other libraries and documentation
centres.
The staff of CODICE is at your service and wishes you
a successful session.
