Why Metal Clad ?
Metal clad switchgears, which are consisting
of four compartments and each compart-
ment separated by a grounded metal sheet,
have withdrawable type circuit-breaker. Met-
al clad switchgears are produced to be used
in places where the maximum service con-
tinuity is desired. These type of switchgears,
which are produced resistant to high cur-
rent and short circuit current rates, are also
resistant to tough environmental conditions.
During a fault or maintenance, because of
circuit breakers are easily replaceable each
other, power outages are eliminated as soon
as possible.
Pourquoi Cellule Débrochable?
Ces appareillages de commutation sous
envellope métallique, qui sont constitués de
quatre compartiments compartiment séparé
par des planches métalliques mise à la terre,
sont munis disjoncteur de type débrochable.
Ces cellules sont produites pour être utiliser
dans les endroits où une continuité de service
maximale souhaitée. Ces type de cellules,qui
sont résistant de haute intensité et de haut
courant de court circuit, sont également ré-
sistants aux conditions environnementales
séveres. Au cours d’une faute ou d’entretien,
en raison des disjoncteurs sont facilement
remplaçables les uns des autres, des pannes
d’électricité sont éliminés dans de tres
courtes durées.
Neden Metal Clad?
Metal clad hücreler, 4 bölmeden oluşan ve
her bir bölmenin topraklanmış metal plaka-
larla birbirinden ayrıldığı, arabalı (çekmeceli)
tip kesicili orta gerilim hücreleridir. Metal
Clad hücreler, servis sürekliliğinin maksimum
olması istenen kullanımlar için üretilmek-
tedir. Yüksek akım ve kısa devre akımlarına
dayanıklı olarak imal edilen bu hücreler, aynı
zamanda zorlu çevre koşullarına da mak-
simum derecede dayanıklıdırlar. Kesicisinin
kolayca değiştirilebilmesi sayesinde, her-
hangi bir arıza ya da bakım sırasında, enerji
kesintisi en kısa sürede giderilmektedir.
Our Production
EKOS GROUP is manufacturing medium volt-
age metal clad switchgears in its facilities
located in Cayirova/Kocaeli, Gebze/Kocaeli
and Hendek/Adapazari, since 2000 com-
pletely with Turkish engineering and capi-
tal. The Group can manufacture metal clad
switchgears levels from 12 to 36 kV, 630 A to
3150 A, 16 kA to 31.5 kA. and have sales ac-
tivities of these products in Turkey and other
regions.

Introduction
Metal clad switchgears are designed for
places which have hard environmental
conditions and also demending high
electrical and mechanical durability.
They are manufactured levels from 12
to 36 kV, 630 A to 3150 A, 16 kA to 31.5
kA. Breaking operation is made by SF6
gas insulated or vacuum circuit break-
ers. Disconnecting operation is made
by taking out the withdrawable circuit
breaker. With the applies mechanical
and electrical interlocks, operator safety
is maximized.

riot sont conçus pour des conditions
environnementales dures et aussi des
demandes de hautes résistances élec-
triques et mécaniques. des niveaux de
12 à 36 kV, 630 A à 3150 A, 16 kA à 31.5
kA. La coupure est faite par des disjonc-
teurs au gaz SF6 our a vide. Le sectionne-
ment est fait par le débrochable du dis-
jonteur. Avec le verrouillage mécaniques
et électriques, la sécurité de l’opérateur
est maximisée.
Giriş
Metal clad hücreler, zorlu çevre
koşullarının olduğu ve yüksek elektrik-
sel ve mekanik dayanıklılık istenen
uygulamalar için tasarlanmışlardır. 12
kV’tan 36 kV’a, 630 A’den 3150 A’e, 16
kA’den 31.5 kA’e kadar üretilmektedir.
Kesme işlemi SF6 gazlı ya da vakum
kesiciler ile yapılmaktadır. Ayırma işlemi
ise arabalı kesicinin dışarı çıkarılması ile
sağlanmaktadır. Uygulanan elektrik-
sel ve mekanik kilitlemeler ile operatör
güvenliği en üst seviyeye çıkarılmaktadır.

Incoming / Outgoing / Transformer
Protection Switchgear
This switchgear is used in the incoming
and outgoing ring feeders, where the
protection is required, and for trans-
former protection. Beside the ability of
switching load currents from 630 A to
3150 A and earthing the cable line, it can
also break the fault currents and short
circuit currents. This switchgear can be
produced with vacuum or SF6 gas cir-
cuit breaker. Disconnecting operation is
made by taking out the withdrawable
circuit breaker. Also it includes toroidal
or block type current transformer and
secondary protection and control equip-
ment. If requested, the output voltage
can be measured by including voltage
transformer.
Arrivé / Départ / Protection de
Transformateur
Ces cellules sont utilisées comme arrivé/
départ ou protection transformateur
dans les réseaux en boucle ou la protec-
tion est nécessaire. Outre la capacité de
coupure de grands courants de charge
des niveaux de 630 A à 3150 A et la mise
à la terre du câble, il peut aussi couper
les courants de défaut et les courants de
court-circuit. Ce tableau peut être pro-
duit avec un disjoncteur au gaz SF6 ou
à vide. L’opération de sectionnement se
fait par le débrochage du disjoncteur. En
outre, il comprend un transformateur de
courant de type torique ou en bloc et des
équipements secondaire de protection
et de contrôle. Si demandé, la tension
de sortie peut être mesurée en incluant
transformateur de tension.

Koruma Hücresi
Koruma fonksiyonu gereken besleme
hattı giriş-çıkışları ve transformatör -
derleri için kullanılır. Anma akımı 630
A’den 3150 A’e kadar yükleri açma-ka-
pama ve kablo hattı topraklama işlevi ile
birlikte arıza akımlarını kesme işlevi görür.
Vakum ya da SF6 gazlı kesici ile üretilebil-
mektedir. Ayırma işlemi, arabalı kesicinin
dışarı çekilmesi ile sağlanır. Toroidal ya
da blok tipi akım transformatörü ile se-
konder koruma-kontrol ekipmanlarını
içerir. Talep edilmesi durumunda gerilim
trafosu da dahil edilerek, çıkıştaki geri-
limin okunması da sağlanabilir.

Measuring Switchgear
This switchgear is the type which in-
cludes the block type measuring current
transformers and the fuse and voltage
transformer, parallel to these transform-
ers. Disconnecting operation is made by
taking out the withdrawable type dis-
connector. It is used for measuring cur-
rent and voltage, in the customer side of
a transformer or distribution substation.
These switchgears can be designed as
left or right hand side incoming, accord-
ing to the customers’ requests.
Cellule de Mesure
Ces cellules comprennet des transfor-
mateurs de courant en bloc et le trans-
formateur de tension et fusible. Le sec-
tionnement se fait par débrochage du
disjoncteur. Il est utilisé pour mesurer le
courant et la tension, dans le côté client
d’un transformateur ou dans les postes
dedistribution. Ces cellules selon la de-
mande du client peuvent etre concues
pour l’entrée par la gauche ou par la
droite.
Ölçü Hücresi
Blok tipi ölçü akım transformatörü ve
buna paralel bağlı sigorta ve gerilim
transformatörünü içeren hücre tipidir.
Ayırma işlemi, arabalı tip ayırıcının dışarı
çekilmesi ile sağlanır. Transformatör ve
dağıtım merkezlerinde müşteri tarafında
akım ve gerilimin ölçülmesi için kullanılır.
Bu hücreler, müşterinin isteğine göre,
sağdan ya da soldan girişli olacak şekilde
üretilebilmektedir.
Coupling Switchgear
This switchgear is used for interrupt-
ing and disconnecting the two busbars.
It can switch from 630 A to 3150 A. If
protection is requested, a current trans-
former and a secondary protection relay
can be integrated. By the electrical and
mechanical interlocks, circuit breaker
can not be closed without ensuring syn-
chronization of two busbars. In large sys-
tems with many incoming and outgoing
lines, during the maintenance, one part
of busbar is de-energized and energy
continuity of the other part is provided.
Cellules de Couplage
Cette cellule est utilisé pour diviser en
deux partie le jeux de barres. Il peut
couper des courants des niveaux de
630 A à 3150 A. Si la protection est de-
mandée, un transformateur de courant
et un relais de protection peuvent être
intégrés. Par les verrouillages électriques
et mécaniques, le disjoncteur ne peut
pas être fermé sans assurer la synchro-
nisation de deux jeux de barres. Durant
la maintenance d’une partie du jeu de
barre, l’autre partie reste en service as-
surer la continuité de service.
Bara Bağlama (Kuplaj) Hücresi
İki ana bara arasında ayırma ve kesme
işlevini yerine getirmek için tasarlanan
kesicili hücre tipidir. 630 A’den 3150 A’e
kadar açma-kapama yapabilirler. Koru-
ma özelliği istenmesi durumunda, akım
transformatörü ve sekonder koruma
rölesi eklenebilir. Tasarlanan elektriksel ve
mekanik kilitlemeler vasıtası ile iki baranın
senkronizasyonu sağlanmadan kesici
kapatılamamaktadır. Çok giriş-çıkışlı
büyük sistemlerde, baranın bir kısmı e-
nerjisiz bırakılarak bakım yapılırken, diğer
kısmın enerji devamlılığı sağlanmış olur.
Busbar Connection Switchgear
This switchgear is produced to provide
the connection directly to the busbar
safely. It does not include any switching
equipment. If it is requested, earthing
disconnector, current transformer and
voltage transformer can be included.
Cellule Remontée de Barres
Cette cellule est conçue pour assurer
la connection directe sur la barre prin-
cipale en sécurité. Elle ne contient pas
d’équipments d’interruption. Si demandé,
un sectionneur de terre, transformateur
de courant et transformateur de tension
peuvent être inclus.
Bara Yükseltme Hücresi
Güvenli bir şekilde doğrudan ana
baraya bağlantı yapılabilmesi amacıyla
