3.3 Barge Coordinate System
The barge coordinate system and environmental headings are defined in below figure.
- Origin: Intersection of barge centreline, midships and baseline
- X axis : Positive to starboard
- Y axis : Positive to forward
- Z axis : Positive upwards from baseline (keel)
- Mooring line angle is measured from y-axis, positive clockwise
