 Saav is a platform for entrepreneurs who want to make an online store where he/she can showcase their products.
 It is a very easy process where an online store can be generated within 3-4 clicks after which users can add their
products into the catalog.
 Saav also offers LinkedIn bio tools which can generate a LinkedIn bio with links to all the various platforms that an
entrepreneur operates on so that users can navigate easily.

ABOUT AND INSPIRATION
Hadi Azeez is an Indian entrepreneur. He is
the founder of Saav; creating helpful tools for
small scale businesses and creators. He is
also a co-founder of the Raveo and a project
lead in Abony.in.
Saav was initially known as ‘Makers in
Home’. Before Saav they made an app like
‘Inshorts’ for Malayalam readers and did not
launch it and but they kept working for more
features in it.
The book ‘Atomic habits’ helped change his
lifestyle and become more productive.

STARTED
 Read another book named ‘Hacking Growth’ and
learned about Data driver markets.
 Coding was introduced to him by a friend of his.
 Helped his friend in doing an ad and came to
know more about the market and the drawbacks
of selling on Instagram, and later helped him to
optimize the market processes.

 The main idea of Saav was an online flea market.
 The success of such a marketplace is when there
is a balance of good stores and good customers.
 Asked friends whether they will open a store if I
open an online marketplace. Offered them wider
visibility.
 Expected customers to be home-entrepreneurs.
 Planned to build an MVP based on customer
behavior.

STARTED
 Initially they only knew basic html, php and other
languages, so they had to learn frontend and
backend languages like React and NodeJS to build
the application. Hence it took 3-4 months to
release the first iteration of Saav.
 Made and Instagram handle and connected with
home-entrepreneurs and requested them to try it
out. In the meantime, they optimized the page
and came up with a good bio. This is how the
initial marketing in Saav started.

STARTED
 Strategy was to offer things for free first and start
monetizing later like Google, but realized that
those strategies cannot be used by us since firms
like Google have massive funding to experiment
strategies.
 Made another tool for collaboration between
entrepreneurs
called
‘Wecollab’
where
entrepreneurs could find other entrepreneurs
that are interested in doing collaborations.

 Promoted this app by asking influencers to give
shoutouts.
 Wecollab was build as an acquisition tool for Saav
(Then ‘Makers in Home’)
 Changed Domain to Saav since it is a more playful
name and easy for people to remember
