Request is made for medical waste incinerator for medical waste in the industrial zone (no gas cleaning system required).
The client is an operator for waste collection.
Planned incineration rate is between 50-100 kg/hr

2. Calculations on the thermal utilization and disposal of waste
Calculations were carried out for the waste proposed in section 1 in addition to presenting characteristics of plastic waste and
biological waste to cover a wide range of waste that can be classified as medical.

3. HURIKAN Series Overview
1. HURIKAN is a multi-functional incinerator that is
certified to be used for 4700 types of waste,
including medical, pharmaceutical, biological and
industrial waste.
2. HURIKAN works at a temperature of 850 to 1300 °C,
due to which complete disposal of waste is
guaranteed.
3. Air emission thresholds for waste incineration
facilities are equivalent to Directive 2010/75/EC of
the European Parliament and of the Council of 24
November 2010 on industrial emissions.
4. HURIKAN can be mounted on a semi-trailer, highly
maneuverable, quickly deployed in place, has a
sturdy construction, automatic combustion cycles.

4. HURIKAN Series Operation Description
HURIKAN is designed for high-temperature thermal
destruction, neutralization and disposal of production
and municipal waste, medical and biological.
- Main chamber (combustion chamber). The main
chamber is a welded box-type structure made of steel
sheet, reinforced with metal profile. The lining of the
chamber is represented by two layers: the first (main) heat-resistant concrete with an aluminum oxide content
of at least 40% and an operating temperature of up to
1400 ° C, perceives the first thermal load and main
mechanical load; the second (intermediate) - refractory
ceramic fiberboard with an operating temperature of up
to 1260 ° C, additionally protects the metal body from
high temperatures, which also prevents metal from
damage in case of damage to the concrete lining.
Burners are installed in two rows. The upper row of the
burners provides ignition, combustion of waste, and
also maintains the neutralization temperature in
automatic mode in a given temperature range. The lower row of burners provides ignition of waste, minimizes mechanical
underburn, provides neutralization of liquid waste, and also maintains the neutralization temperature in automatic mode in
a given temperature range.
Combined lining of the combustion chamber consisting of insulating ceramic and a monolithic refractory concrete layer (unlike
brick linings) ensures the absence of technological gaps at the abutment points, which guarantees a long service life without

repairs and maintenance. Due to the ceramic plate, heat is stored in the chamber, which significantly saves fuel consumption
and prevents heating of the outside body.
- Sliding cover. Opening the lid can be carried out in automatic or manual mode. The cover is equipped with an extreme
position sensor to turn off the burning device at the time of opening. The lining of the lid is made with high-temperature
thermal insulation blankets, which reduces the heat loss of the chamber and reduces the weight of the structure.
- Secondary chamber. This chamber is a welded box-type structure made of steel sheet with metal profile. The lining of the
chamber is made with high-temperature thermal insulation blankets, which reduces the heat loss of the chamber and reduces
the weight of the structure. The design of the chamber ensures the stay of combustion products for at least 2 seconds with
an excess of oxygen of at least 6%, which allows to achieve a minimum residual amount or complete destruction - HCN, NH3,
formaldehyde, suspended solids and other products of incomplete combustion of waste. Burners of the secondary chamber
maintain the afterburning temperature in automatic mode at a given temperature range.
Additionally, higher productivity can be achieved due to the “hearth bar” system, ash can be cleaned without stopping
equipment. With such a technical solution, the operation of the plant is possible 24/7. Comfortable waste unloading zone,
easy opening of the cover due to lining with lightweight high-resistance refractory materials, arrangement of the control board
on the incinerator housing provides efficient and safe operation.
