Human Resource Manager,
Aridland Development Programme, Kaabong.
Dear Sir/Madam,
RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POSTION OF FIELD OFFICER USAID - ICAN PROJECT- KAABONG
I am thrilled to apply for the post in the reference as was shared on WhatsApp group. This is an ideal job
for me - given my qualifications, work experience and enthusiasm to work with vulnerable smallholder
farmers. As you will notice from my CV, I hold a bachelor science degree in agriculture from Makerere
University measuring in crop science. You would also notice that I attended several tailor-made practical
capacity building trainings for career enrichment, making me suitably fit for the above position. Besides, I
worked for GDI Uganda, a CBO which implemented the grassroot nutrition project for three years.
I have 8 years working experience, with various international and national organisations as: Agricultural
Extension Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Agriculture Officer. I am a great team player and I have good
interpersonal skills that will add value in such a key position in your organisation. I am a very hard working,
time conscious and self-driven person, with demonstrated working experience in Karamoja sub-region.
I do my work diligently with high level of passion for the community I serve and ensure that I meet the
interests of my employer. Find attached overleaf a copy of my detailed Curriculum Vitae.
I look forward to being invited for an interview to discuss the possibility of joining such a great organisation
as we struggle to empower farmers in our communities to improve on their nutrition.
Yours faithfully,
Egwete Maurice
