titre de la vidéo dans le moteur de recherche. Dans la barre de recherche, cliquez sur la
première vidéo, postée par Feaden le 12 avril 2006.
1) First watch the video without the soundtrack. What do you think are the
three problems it tackles?
a) Global warming
b) Extreme weather conditions: droughts, floods…
c) Pollution
2) Now listen, watch and complete:
a) What does life depend on? Life depends on the warmth of the sun.
b) Complete the sentences:
1. The layer of gases is getting thicker, heating the world, changing our climate
and threatening our way of life.
2. As the world gets hotter the extreme effect of climate change will become more
frequent making our planet a more hostile place to live.
3. We witnessed the hottest days in the last few years.
3) Watch again and give examples of solutions for each problem tackled:
a) Alternative energy: solar panels, wind turbines, water energies
b) Saving of energy: switch off the lights!
c) Public transport, walking, cycling

4) True or false? Correct the sentences that are false.
 As people can see the gases, the cause of the problem is obvious to everyone.
FALSE: If people could see the gases, the problem would be obvious.
 People would probably act if they could see the effect of the gases.
