Grâce aux déclencheurs interchangeables, les disjoncteurs Compact NS s’adaptent à :
b La protection des réseaux de distribution (avec ou sans dispositif différentiel
résiduel).
b La protection des démarreurs de moteur.
b La protection de l'équipement machine.
b La protection des réseaux à courant continu (produits spécifiques).
b La fonction interrupteur-sectionneur, conforme à la norme IEC 60947-3.
Le déclenchement peut, au choix de l’utilisateur, être assuré par un dispositif
magnéto-thermique ou électronique.
Le montage des Compact NS en inverseurs de source (automatiques ou manuels)
est également prévu.
Applications
With a wide range of interchangeable trip units, Compact NS circuit breakers are the
perfect solution for:
b Protection of distribution systems (with or without earth-fault protection module).
b Protection of motor starters.
b Protection of industrial control panels.
b Protection of DC systems (specific products).
b Switch-disconnector function, as per IEC standard 60947-3.
Electronic or thermal-magnetic trip units are available to meet all user preferences.
Compact NS circuit breakers are also designed for use in manual or automatic
source-changeover systems.
Aptitude au sectionnement et sécurité d’intervention
Tous les disjoncteurs Compact sont aptes au sectionnement selon la norme
internationale IEC 60947-2. La poignée ne peut indiquer la position O que si les
contacts sont effectivement séparés. L’adaptation d’une télécommande ou d’une
commande rotative conserve l’aptitude au sectionnement.
Pour la protection contre les contacts directs, les disjoncteurs Compact s’installent à
travers la face avant des tableaux de classe II (norme IEC 60664).
Suitability for isolation and safety of personnel
All Compact circuit breakers are suitable for isolation as defined in IEC standard
60947-2. The operating handle cannot indicate the "off" position unless the contacts
are actually open. Fitting a rotary handle or a motor mechanism does not alter the
reliability of the position indication system.
For protection against direct contact with live parts, Compact circuit breakers may be
installed through the front panel of Class II switchboards (as per IEC 60664).

Contactor tripping module (SDTAM) for STR22ME

b Opens the contactor before the circuit breaker trips,
in the event of an overload. It is thus possible to
differentiate between tripping due to overloads and
short-circuits.
b May also be used to signal a thermal fault.
b Reset manually, locally or remotely by resetting the
circuit breaker.
