Exemple : I eat apples BECAUSE they are good for me.
exemple : TOO et THOUGH).

1. Après les conjonctions avec préposition, on utilise la forme -ing (in spite of, in the event of, as
long as, as to, instead of, as for, etc).
Exemple: In spite of working very hard, he earns little money
2. Although/Even though/Though + Proposition principale
Exemple: Although she studied for two weeks, she didn’t pass her exam.
3. Despite/In spite of + nom ou la forme –ing
Exemple: Despite working 60 hours a week he doesn’t have any money.
4. While/whereas/on the other hand/yet/but + Proposition
Exemple: While she is very rich, her sister hasn’t got any money.
Exemple: She is very rich while her sister hasn’t got any money.
5. However/Nevertheless + Proposition
Exemple: Mary lost her job. However, she wasn’t sad about it.
6. However/no matter how + adjectif/adverbe + sujet + verbe.
Exemple: No matter how hard he tries, he’ll never get the job.
