Host profile: Within the framework of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Ulm we offer the
applicant a comprehensive overview on modern diagnostic and therapeutic
treatment strategies in GI cancer including endoscopy, surgery, systemic treatment,
radiotherapy and interventional strategies such as SIRT and RFTA. Furthermore,
applicants will get to know modern concepts in nutrition therapy, psycho-oncology
and palliative care. Given the limited amount of time, applicants should state their
preferences for at maximum three different topics that will be the major areas to be
covered during their stay.
