The Marseille SIRIC, which IPC is part of together with AP-HM, supports the emergence of innovative
projects through specific call for proposals. The first call for emerging projects was launched on January 31st
2014 and closed on March 25th 2104. A budget of 200 000€ was devoted to this call to fund innovative
projects in the field of translational research on breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, glioma or leukemia.
15 projects were received and submitted for review by the international scientific advisory board of the
SIRIC and by the scientific committee of the SIRIC, and 5 projects were selected for funding.
