Spotting Bad Journalism
If I wanted to write about a new restaurant, I would use three sources of information.
First, I would interview the owner of the new restaurant in order to know the owner's
history such as the reason of why they opened the restaurant, and the type of food
they serve. Next, I would search the public opinion about the retaurants that were at
that location earlier. That would give the reader the history of the place over the
years. Therfore, I would read reviews over the internet for opinions about the new
restaurant up till now. To make sure that the details are accurate and credible, I would
check the owner's account with official records and ensure that the reviews are from
credible websites. That way, the details of the article will be accurate.
