PRINCIPLE
AppVision player for VLC uses VideoLAN VLC media player to display video files or camera streams.
PREREQUISITES
o Extract then content of file appPlayerVLC.4.X.zip in the directory \AppVision 4\bin

CONFIGURATION
o Create a variable of type Camera
o Address contains the video file path or url (referred as MRL in VLC)
o Add CreateControlPlayer=appPlayerVLC.dll in Parameters field.
VLC MRL SYNTAX

Stream MRL syntax:

URL syntax:

VLC OPTIONS
VLC command line options can be set in the “Other parameters” field.
Ex:
--sub-source=logo{file="c:\picture.png",x=10,y=50}
Displays a picture over the video
--sub-source=marq{marquee="%H:%M:%S"}
Displays the current time over the video
--video-filter=transform{type=180}
Rotates the video by 180°
--video-filter=motion
Activates motion detection
