Abstract : Hearing impairment is one of the many and varied disabilities
that affect individuals, which affects the sense of hearing and affect
the acquisition of speech and language in particular, this requires early
diagnosis, especially in children, and hearing disabilities vary from
individual to individual, depending on the type of injury and location.
With this diversity, we find different rehabilitation strategies for this
group of people with special needs. Through this, we will try to show
the different classifications of hearing impairment in addition to the
most important diagnostic methods and access to the most important
