ADVENTURE BINGO
This is a great game to play during the first few weeks of school when your students are just getting
to know each other. It will help them find out more about their fellow classmates, make connections
with friends and also get them moving.
SETUP & EXPLANATION
Print and Cut the Bingo Cards below and give one to each student.
Give each student a crayon or non-permanent marker.
Explain and demonstrate how when the music starts students attempt to find another classmate
that has gone on one of the adventures represented by the symbol on the BINGO card by asking:
“Have you ever__________?”
If they respond YES - have them write their first and last initials on the box with the adventure
symbol that you asked them about. If they respond NO - you must go find someone else
After someone initials your card you must jog one lap before asking another student a question to
find out if they can sign one of the boxes on your card
RULES
Each person can sign your card ONCE no double ups (or 2x if you have less than 24 kids)
After each signature - you must jog one lap around the room before asking for another signature
Continue playing until someone fills their entire card or until the time limit is up.
Have students get a card and a marker and go to a designated
area to wait for the game to begin
Once the music starts the game begins.
Fill up as many boxes as you can before the time runs out!

VARIATIONS
Just play for fun and get to know your friends
Compete to see who can get 4 in a row first
Compete to see who can get 6 in a row first
WOW Challenge: Can you get 6 in a row before time runs out?
Change the exercise from "jog one lap" to anything else you want
Give the students a choice of a few different exercise options
Keep all the cards to learn more about your students
Make your own cards with different activities specific to your area
CLOSURE
Discuss how the only way to find out new things about other people is to be brave enough to ask
them about what they are interested in. Ask students to share one new thing they discovered about
another classmate during the game
Talk to students about the power of making connections with other people in their class and how
much we all have in common that we might not be aware of. Sometimes it just takes a little courage
to make a new friend, or find out something new about an old friend…
Remind kids that the purpose of PE is to enable them with skills, knowledge and confidence to go on
any kind of adventures that they would ever dream of for the rest of their lives!
NOTES
Also attached on the last page are some BINGO Cards from another BINGO activity that I created it's the same concept and still works for older kids who can read, so I've attached it to this document
as well if you want to check it out and use if you want.
