What is a sample exam
Sample exams are meant to give you a flavor of the real certification exams (interface,
question formats…). They are available online for free and for unlimited attempts
Going through a sample exam, you will get familiar with the whole testing process
Connecting to the testing platform via internet
Installing the tester on your machine
Creating your account
Starting and taking the exam
Getting your results

We recommend that you launch CATIA before starting the exam to save time
Note that for certain questions you will have to download a file (zip file including start data such as
parts or products or 3dxml) in order to be able to perform the scenario.

Accessing the testing platform
You need an internet connection to do the following steps
Access the testing platform using the following link
https://3ds.virtualtester.com
Download, install and run the TesterPRO Client (.exe file). It
takes few minutes and no administrator privilege is required
Follow the instructions and use the default options
Tip: To save time it is possible to copy/paste the Tester file (.exe)
from one machine to the other

How to start an exam
Once the tester is launched follow the instructions
1. Select the tester language
2. Create your personal account (the first time only) or log
in (if you already have an account)
3. Select the desired sample exam in the list (as shown in
the picture)
4. Select the exam language (Sample exams are only
available in English) and click on Start Exam.
5. A message is displayed to confirm the exam you have
selected. Click OK
6. The tester downloads the exam questions. The Terms
of Use for the exam are displayed. Read the text and
Click I Agree.

Taking an exam
7. The welcome screen of the sample exam is displayed. Read
carefully and click Start Examination
6. The first question of the exam is displayed
Timer is started. The time bar at the bottom of the screen.
Read carefully the exam instructions and perform the required
actions in CATIA.
You can change the main image by clicking on another thumbnail
image (if multiple images) and zoom in or out.
Respond to the questions, either by selecting an answer or by
typing a value (different possible question formats).
You can navigate in the exam and review the questions.
The Show Summary button displays the list of the questions in
the exam with their status (responded or not responded). Make
sure you go back to the questions to continue with the exam.
