SUMMARY OF MAJOR CHANGES SINCE 2005
Quality Assurance/Quality Control (7020) was renamed Quality System and significantly revised to
stay abreast of regulatory requirements and clarify the essential quality control practices for test
methods in Part 7000. The gamma spectrometric method for the determination of Radium-224
(7500-Ra.E) now permits use of either Pb or Ba as a carrier.
Also, many methods now refer users to the quality control practices that are considered to be an
integral part of the method.
