trois principales phases :
La première phase de réflexion et
de conception a permis d’élaborer les
modèles de données suivis de la
modélisation des formes d’objets
géographiques et de la structuration de la
base de données.
La deuxième était consacrée à
l’acquisition des données et enfin la
troisième a consisté en l’implémentation et
à la mise en œuvre du SIG.
Mots clés: SIG, Fibre Optique
ABSTRACT
One of the major objectives of the
telecommunications companies in
Cameroon is the implementation of a
management tool for monitoring and
updating the network.
To achieve these objectives, they
must have information about the exact
location of equipment and network
configuration.
The GIS tool is appropriate because
it is scalable and allows an intelligent and
integrated approach of the planning and
network expansion.
The implementation of a GIS for
monitoring and maintenance of fiber optic
network is the subject of the work was
proposed to us. The work was carried out
in three main phases. The first phase of
reflection and design has helped to develop
data models followed by modeling forms
of geographical objects and the
structuration of the database.
The second was devoted to data acquisition
and finally the third consisted of the
implementation of GIS
