You are invited to participate in this dynamic workshop about tobacco control
research activities and priorities in Africa. This workshop is an opportunity to:
• Learn about current tobacco control research efforts in Africa and the scientific
priorities to support implementation of the Framework Convention for Tobacco
Control (FCTC) articles in African countries.
• Contribute to the refinement of tobacco control research priorities and identify
research and dissemination efforts that would be most beneficial, feasible, and
responsive to needs in African countries.
• Network with presenters and attendees to develop potential collaborative
partnerships to help implement these priorities.
