2016 EARTH DAY E-WASTE COLLECTS 9.45 TONNES OF
E-WASTE
Thank you to all who contributed to help
make our 2016 Earth Day E-Waste event a
success.
Together, Canderel and Humford’s
properties in Toronto, Montréal and
Edmonton collected and recycled 9.45
tonnes of E-Waste, bringing our grand total
since 2011 to over 47 tonnes! Recycling

this waste rather than sending it to landfill
will result in significant greenhouse gas
emissions reductions, save valuable landfill
space and avoid the release of harmful
toxins into our waterways and soils.
APPLES
It’s that time of year again!!!! In a few short
weeks we will be offering tenants freshly
picked apples, signaling that Fall has officially
arrived.

ICE CREAM DAY
Canderel appreciates its tenants. As part of our appreciation, we
hosted an ice cream day on June 21st. We served ice cream with
various toppings to a total of 330 of our tenants, making this
event an extremely popular one.
Thank you to all of you who participated and we hope to see you
all again at our next event.
DÉFI CANDEREL
On May 5th 2016, the 27th annual
Défi Canderel fundraising event
took place at McGill’s Roddick gates
with over 1000 participants and VIP
guests attending the event. The Défi
raised over 1.1 million bringing the grand total raised
for cancer research over the past three decades to more
than 12 million dollars. The funds raised are destined
for local cancer research centres: the Goodman Centre
at McGill University and the Montréal Cancer Institute
of the University of Montréal. Next year’s event will take
place on May 11th, 2017. For more information, or to

UNE COLLECTE DE 9.45 TONNES DE DÉCHETS
ÉLECTRONIQUES POUR LE JOUR DE LA TERRE
Merci à tous ceux qui ont participé à notre
collecte de déchets électroniques du Jour
de la Terre 2016. Cet événement a encore
une fois connu un énorme succès.
Ensemble, les immeubles de Canderel et de
Humford Management à Montréal, Toronto
et Edmonton ont recueilli 9.45 tonnes de
matériaux désuets. Canderel portant le
total depuis 2011 à plus de 47 tonnes de
retour à l’heure

En détournant cette quantité importante
de déchets électroniques de nos sites
d’enfouissement, nous avons contribué à
la réduction d’émissions de gaz à effet de
serre tout en évitant la décharge de toxines
dans nos sols et nos cours d’eau.
POMMES
La tradition du temps des pommes revient!!!
Dans quelques semaines nous vous offrirons
encore une fois de pommes fraichement cueillies,
signalant l’arrivée officielle de l’automne.
Journée Crème glaçé
Canderel apprécie ses locataires. Le 21 Juin dernier,dans le
cadre de notre appréciation, nous avons servi de lacrème
glaçé avec des garnitures diverses à 330 de nos locataires,
faisant cet événement une journée extrêmement populaire.

voir tous l’an prochain.
DÉFI CANDEREL
Le 5 mai dernier se tenait la 27e édition du
Défi Canderel avec plus de 1000 participants
et invités sur place au portail Roddick de
l’Université McGill. Cette année, nous avons
amassé plus de 1,1 millions de dollars pour la
recherche sur le cancer, ce qui porte le grand
total pour les trois dernières décénnies à plus de 12 millions. Cet
argent est distribué aux centres de recherche sur le cancer des
universités McGill et Montréal. L’année prochaine, l’événement se
