Why Metal Clad ?
Metal clad switchgears, which are consisting
of four compartments and each compartment separated by a grounded metal sheet,
have withdrawable type circuit-breaker. Metal clad switchgears are produced to be used
in places where the maximum service continuity is desired. These type of switchgears,
which are produced resistant to high current and short circuit current rates, are also
resistant to tough environmental conditions.
During a fault or maintenance, because of
circuit breakers are easily replaceable each
other, power outages are eliminated as soon
as possible.
Pourquoi Cellule Débrochable?
Ces appareillages de commutation sous
envellope métallique, qui sont constitués de
quatre compartiments compartiment séparé
par des planches métalliques mise à la terre,
sont munis disjoncteur de type débrochable.
Ces cellules sont produites pour être utiliser
dans les endroits où une continuité de service
maximale souhaitée. Ces type de cellules,qui
sont résistant de haute intensité et de haut
courant de court circuit, sont également résistants aux conditions environnementales
séveres. Au cours d’une faute ou d’entretien,
en raison des disjoncteurs sont facilement
remplaçables les uns des autres, des pannes
d’électricité sont éliminés dans de tres
courtes durées.
Neden Metal Clad?
Metal clad hücreler, 4 bölmeden oluşan ve
her bir bölmenin topraklanmış metal plakalarla birbirinden ayrıldığı, arabalı (çekmeceli)
tip kesicili orta gerilim hücreleridir. Metal
Clad hücreler, servis sürekliliğinin maksimum
olması istenen kullanımlar için üretilmektedir. Yüksek akım ve kısa devre akımlarına
dayanıklı olarak imal edilen bu hücreler, aynı
zamanda zorlu çevre koşullarına da maksimum derecede dayanıklıdırlar. Kesicisinin
kolayca değiştirilebilmesi sayesinde, herhangi bir arıza ya da bakım sırasında, enerji
kesintisi en kısa sürede giderilmektedir.
Our Production
EKOS GROUP is manufacturing medium voltage metal clad switchgears in its facilities
located in Cayirova/Kocaeli, Gebze/Kocaeli
and Hendek/Adapazari, since 2000 completely with Turkish engineering and capital. The Group can manufacture metal clad
switchgears levels from 12 to 36 kV, 630 A to
3150 A, 16 kA to 31.5 kA. and have sales activities of these products in Turkey and other

Introduction
Metal clad switchgears are designed for
places which have hard environmental
conditions and also demending high
electrical and mechanical durability.
They are manufactured levels from 12
to 36 kV, 630 A to 3150 A, 16 kA to 31.5
kA. Breaking operation is made by SF6
gas insulated or vacuum circuit breakers. Disconnecting operation is made
by taking out the withdrawable circuit
breaker. With the applies mechanical
and electrical interlocks, operator safety
is maximized.

avec disjoncteur débrochable sur charriot sont conçus pour des conditions
environnementales dures et aussi des
demandes de hautes résistances électriques et mécaniques. des niveaux de
12 à 36 kV, 630 A à 3150 A, 16 kA à 31.5
kA. La coupure est faite par des disjoncteurs au gaz SF6 our a vide. Le sectionnement est fait par le débrochable du disjonteur. Avec le verrouillage mécaniques
et électriques, la sécurité de l’opérateur
est maximisée.

Kesme işlemi SF6 gazlı ya da vakum
kesiciler ile yapılmaktadır. Ayırma işlemi
ise arabalı kesicinin dışarı çıkarılması ile
sağlanmaktadır. Uygulanan elektriksel ve mekanik kilitlemeler ile operatör
güvenliği en üst seviyeye çıkarılmaktadır.

Protection Switchgear
This switchgear is used in the incoming
and outgoing ring feeders, where the
protection is required, and for transformer protection. Beside the ability of
switching load currents from 630 A to
3150 A and earthing the cable line, it can
also break the fault currents and short
circuit currents. This switchgear can be
produced with vacuum or SF6 gas circuit breaker. Disconnecting operation is
made by taking out the withdrawable
circuit breaker. Also it includes toroidal
or block type current transformer and
secondary protection and control equipment. If requested, the output voltage
can be measured by including voltage
transformer.

Ces cellules sont utilisées comme arrivé/
départ ou protection transformateur
dans les réseaux en boucle ou la protection est nécessaire. Outre la capacité de
coupure de grands courants de charge
des niveaux de 630 A à 3150 A et la mise
à la terre du câble, il peut aussi couper
les courants de défaut et les courants de
court-circuit. Ce tableau peut être produit avec un disjoncteur au gaz SF6 ou
à vide. L’opération de sectionnement se
fait par le débrochage du disjoncteur. En
outre, il comprend un transformateur de
courant de type torique ou en bloc et des
équipements secondaire de protection
et de contrôle. Si demandé, la tension
de sortie peut être mesurée en incluant
transformateur de tension.

birlikte arıza akımlarını kesme işlevi görür.
Vakum ya da SF6 gazlı kesici ile üretilebilmektedir. Ayırma işlemi, arabalı kesicinin
dışarı çekilmesi ile sağlanır. Toroidal ya
da blok tipi akım transformatörü ile sekonder koruma-kontrol ekipmanlarını
içerir. Talep edilmesi durumunda gerilim
trafosu da dahil edilerek, çıkıştaki gerilimin okunması da sağlanabilir.
Measuring Switchgear
This switchgear is the type which includes the block type measuring current
transformers and the fuse and voltage
transformer, parallel to these transformers. Disconnecting operation is made by
taking out the withdrawable type disconnector. It is used for measuring current and voltage, in the customer side of
a transformer or distribution substation.
These switchgears can be designed as
left or right hand side incoming, according to the customers’ requests.
Cellule de Mesure
Ces cellules comprennet des transformateurs de courant en bloc et le transformateur de tension et fusible. Le sectionnement se fait par débrochage du
disjoncteur. Il est utilisé pour mesurer le
courant et la tension, dans le côté client
d’un transformateur ou dans les postes
dedistribution. Ces cellules selon la demande du client peuvent etre concues
pour l’entrée par la gauche ou par la
droite.

Blok tipi ölçü akım transformatörü ve
buna paralel bağlı sigorta ve gerilim
transformatörünü içeren hücre tipidir.
Ayırma işlemi, arabalı tip ayırıcının dışarı
çekilmesi ile sağlanır. Transformatör ve
dağıtım merkezlerinde müşteri tarafında
akım ve gerilimin ölçülmesi için kullanılır.
Bu hücreler, müşterinin isteğine göre,
sağdan ya da soldan girişli olacak şekilde
üretilebilmektedir.
Coupling Switchgear
This switchgear is used for interrupting and disconnecting the two busbars.
It can switch from 630 A to 3150 A. If
protection is requested, a current transformer and a secondary protection relay
can be integrated. By the electrical and
mechanical interlocks, circuit breaker
can not be closed without ensuring synchronization of two busbars. In large systems with many incoming and outgoing
lines, during the maintenance, one part
of busbar is de-energized and energy
continuity of the other part is provided.
Cellules de Couplage
Cette cellule est utilisé pour diviser en
deux partie le jeux de barres. Il peut
couper des courants des niveaux de
630 A à 3150 A. Si la protection est demandée, un transformateur de courant
et un relais de protection peuvent être
intégrés. Par les verrouillages électriques
et mécaniques, le disjoncteur ne peut
pas être fermé sans assurer la synchronisation de deux jeux de barres. Durant
la maintenance d’une partie du jeu de
barre, l’autre partie reste en service assurer la continuité de service.
Bara Bağlama (Kuplaj) Hücresi
İki ana bara arasında ayırma ve kesme
işlevini yerine getirmek için tasarlanan
kesicili hücre tipidir. 630 A’den 3150 A’e
kadar açma-kapama yapabilirler. Koruma özelliği istenmesi durumunda, akım
transformatörü ve sekonder koruma
rölesi eklenebilir. Tasarlanan elektriksel ve
mekanik kilitlemeler vasıtası ile iki baranın
senkronizasyonu sağlanmadan kesici
kapatılamamaktadır. Çok giriş-çıkışlı
büyük sistemlerde, baranın bir kısmı enerjisiz bırakılarak bakım yapılırken, diğer
kısmın enerji devamlılığı sağlanmış olur.
Busbar Connection Switchgear
This switchgear is produced to provide
the connection directly to the busbar
safely. It does not include any switching
equipment. If it is requested, earthing
disconnector, current transformer and
voltage transformer can be included.
Cellule Remontée de Barres
Cette cellule est conçue pour assurer
la connection directe sur la barre principale en sécurité. Elle ne contient pas
d’équipments d’interruption. Si demandé,
un sectionneur de terre, transformateur
de courant et transformateur de tension
peuvent être inclus.
Bara Yükseltme Hücresi
Güvenli bir şekilde doğrudan ana
baraya bağlantı yapılabilmesi amacıyla

Safety
In EKOS GROUP, the safety is at the
forefront in manufacturing metal clad
switchgears, as well as the other products. First of all, it can be seen from voltage indicator, located on LV panel, that
the switchgear is energized or not. Also
with the electrical and mechanical interlocks, reaching to the energized parts is
prevented. However, being seperated
by earthed metal sheet of all compartments, is one of the characteristics that
increases safety.
Securité

Mechanical Interlocks
In metal clad switchgears, malfunction
and reaching “Accessible” parts without
using any tool is prevented by the applied mechanical interlocks. Any switching operation can only be done, when
the switchgear door is closed position.
If the withdrawable circuit breaker is on
test position or out of the switchgear;
the parts, between the circuit breaker
compartment and the busbar and cable compartmens, are closed with metal
sheets. In addition to mechanical interlocks, in order to prevent access to the
switchgear, it can also be used padlocks.
Verrouillages Mécaniques
Pour les cellules avec disjoncteur débrochable, les mauvaises manœuvres
ou l’accès aux pièces sans utilisation d’un
outil est impossible grâce aux verrouillages mécaniques appliqués. Aucune
opération de manœuvre ne peut être
fait, que lorsque la porte de la cellule est
en position fermée. Si le disjoncteur est
en position débroché ou d’essai, parties
des barres et des câbles sous tension,
sont fermés par les séparations métalliques mise à la terre. En plus des verrouillages mécaniques, afin d’empêcher
l’accès à l’appareillage, il peut des cadenas peuvent être utilisés.

Metal clad hücrelerde uygulanan mekanik kilitlemeler sayesinde hatalı
manevra yapılması ya da herhangi
bir alet kullanılmadan “Erişilebilir” olan
bölümlere erişim engellenmiştir. Herhangi bir anahtarlama işlemi, ancak
hücre kapısı kapalı konumda iken
yapılabilmektedir. Arabalı kesici test
pozisyonunda ya da dışarıda ise, kesici bölmesi ile bara ve kablo bölmeleri
arasında enerji geçişini sağlayan bölgeler, metal perdeler ile kapatılmaktadır.

Robustness
Metal clad switchgears have generally
tough environmental conditions. These
type of switchgears are often used in
places with tough operating conditions
such as, mines, iron and steel, cement
and petrochemical plants. Also, metal
clad switchgears are used in HV/MV
Substations and power plants, where
switching in medium voltage level is frequent. Metal clad switchgears, produced

compliance with all of these tough operating conditions and are being operated
safely in places where they were commissioned.

Low Voltage Compartment
This is the compartment that located at the
top of switchgears and includes protection
relays, control equipment and measuring
units, according to customer request. Control and monitoring equipment are located
on easily controlable height. All control and
monitoring processes, related to switching,
can be made on this panel. Connections of
the cables between the switch panels (auxiliary contacts and interlocks) can be done
easily. The surrounding metal structure is
grounded for preventing the damage of an
internal fault.
Compartiment Basse Tension
C’est le compartiment situé en haut sur le
face de devant de la cellule et comprend
des relais de protection, équipement de
contrôle et les unités de mesure, selon la
demande du client. Les équipement de
contrôle et de surveillance sont situés sur
une hauteur facilementcontrôlable. Tous le
processus de contrôle et de surveillance, liées
à la commutation,peut être faite sur ce panneau. Connexions des câbles entre les panneaux de commutation (contacts auxiliaires
et de verrouillage) peut être fait facilement.
L’envellope métallique est mise à la terre
pour prévenir les dommages d’un défaut
interne.
Alçak Gerilim Bölmesi
İstek doğrultusunda her türlü koruma röleleri, kumanda elemanları ve ölçü aletleri
ile üretilebilen ve hücrenin üst kısmında
yer alan bölümdür. Kumanda ve izleme
malzemeleri kolay kontrol edilebilir yükseklikte tasarlanmıştır. Anahtarlama ile ilgili tüm
koruma ve kontrol işlemleri, bu panelden
yapılabilmektedir. Panolar arası geçiş
kabloların (yardımcı beslemeler ve kilitlemeler) bağlantıları kolaylıkla yapılmaktadır. Pano
içerisinde meydana gelecek bir iç arızada
personel ve malzemelerin zarar görmemesi
için, çevresindeki metal yapı topraklanmıştır.
Busbar Compartment
This compartment includes the copper conductors, which provide the energy transmission and can withstand against the high
current and short circuit powers; epoxi resin
bearing isolators and barrel isolators. Beside
accessing into busbar compartment from
the top of switchgear, it is possible to access
to this compartment from circuit breaker
compartment by removing the front sheet.
By using busbar combining materials in the
passing of busbars between the switchgears
operation, extensibility can be easily provided.
Compartiment Jeux de Barres
Ce compartiment comprend des conducteurs en cuivre, qui assure la transmission
d’énergie entre les cellules et peut résister
des intensités et courant de court-circuit
élevées, des isolateurs en époxy résine et
des puits isolateurs. Il est possible d’accéder
à ce compartiment par le compartiment du
disjoncteur en enlevant la séparation métallique de devant. En utilisant des matériaux
de barres combinaison dans le passage de
barres entre l’extensibilité commutation, des
cellules peut être facilement fournis.
Bara Bölümü
Hücreler arası enerji iletimini sağlayan,
yüksek akım ve kısa devre güçlerine dayanabilen iletkenler ile bu iletkenleri gövdeye
sabitleyen epoksi reçine mesnet izolatörleri
ve kovan izolatörünün bulunduğu bölümdür. Bara bölümüne erişim üstten olduğu
gibi istenildiğinde, kesici bölümünden kovan
ve metal perdeler sökülmeden, ön sacın
çıkarılmasıyla da yapılabilmektedir. Hücreler arası bara geçişinde, bara birleştirme
aparatları kullanılarak hücrenin her iki yönde
genişlemesi kolaylıkla yerinde yapılmaktadır.
Circuit Breaker Compartment
This compartment includes medium voltage
switching equipment (SF6 or Vacuum Circuit
Breakers) and its withdrawable type carrier,
partition metal sheets which seperate the
busbar and circuit breaker compartments.
Circuit breakers, which have same technical
characteristics, can be esaily changed with
each other. A screen system, which pave
the way for hives in the service position and
can be closed safely in the test position, is
designed. The carrier of circuit breaker is in
contact with the main earthing system of
switchgear. Situation informations of circuit
breaker is carried to the low voltage system
with the socket plug system.
Compartiment Disjoncteur
Ce compartiment comprend les équipements de commutation Moyenne tension
(disjoncteur SF6 ou à vide) le charriot de débrochage, et les séparations métalliques
de qui séparer le jeu de barres et le compartiment disjoncteur. Les Disjoncteurs, qui
ont les mêmes caractéristiques techniques,
peuvent être inter changé facilement les
uns avec les autres. Un système d’écran, qui
s’ouvre et se ferme en toute sécurité pendant test et le débrochage du disjoncteur est
conçu. Le charriot du disjoncteur est toujours
en contact avec le système de mise à la terre
principale de l’appareillage. Les informations
du disjoncteur sont transmises au panneau
par un système de prise embrochable de
courant.
Kesici Bölümü
Orta gerilim anahtarlama elemanları (SF6
gazlı ya da vakum kesiciler) ve bunların
taşıyıcısı olan çekmeceli tip araba, bara ve
kesici bölümlerini birbirinden ayıran metal
perdelerin bulunduğu bölümdür. Aynı teknik
değerlerdeki hücrelerde kullanılan kesiciler,
enerji sürekliliği için hızlı ve basit bir şekilde
birbirleri ile değiştirilebilmektedir. Kesici
arabasının servis pozisyonunda hareketini
zorlamayacak şekilde kovanların önünü
açan, test pozisyonuna alınır iken güvenle
kapanan perde sistemi tasarlanmıştır. Kesici
arabası, yaylı toprak barası ile her zaman
hücrenin ana toprağına temas halindedir.
Kesiciye ait durum bilgileri soket fiş sistemi ile
alçak gerilim panosuna taşınmaktadır.
Cable Compartment
This compartment includes, different type of
current and voltage transformers, epoxi resin
hive isolators, earthing switch, surge arrestor,
capasitive isolators. Measurement transformers can be changed easily and quickly.
Cables are fixed to the base of the switchgear. Cable compartment is designed as
accessible from the front and rear, if the necessary mechanical and electrical interlocks
is made, access to the cable compartment,
taking into consideration the size of building
and ease of usage.Safety of this design is approved by IAC: A FLR type which is stated in
IEC62271-200.
Compartiment Câble
Ce compartiment comprend, différents types
de transformateurs de courant et de tension,
isolateurs en époxy résine, sectionneur de
terre, parafoudre, solateurs diviseur capasitif.
Les Transformateurs de mesure peuvent être
changé facilement et rapidement. Les câbles
sont fixés à la base de l’appareillage de commutation. Le compartiment câble est conçu
pour etre accessible à partir de l’avant et
l’arrière, en tenant compte de la taille du bâtiment et de la facilité d’usage si les verrouillages nécessaires mécaniques et électriques
sont faits. Sécurité de cette conception est
agréé par l’IAC: Un type RPF qui est indiqué
dans IEC62271-200.
Kablo Bölmesi
Farklı tipte akım, gerilim trafoları, kesici
bölümü ile geçişi sağlayan epoksi kovan
izolatörleri, toprak bıçağı, parafudr, kapasitif
izolatör gibi şalt malzemelerinin bulunduğu
bölümdür. Ölçü trafolarının değişikliği hızlı
ve kolay bir şekilde yapılmaktadır. Kablolar
hücre tabanında rekorlar ile sabitlenmiştir.
Kablo bölmesi, gerekli mekaniksel ve elektriksel kilitlemeler yapıldığı takdirde, kablo bölümüne erişim, binanın boyutları ve
kullanıcı kolaylığı göz önüne alınarak, önden
ve arkadan ulaşılabilir şekilde tasarlanmıştır.
