PRESS RELEASE Bubbles in Brussels : a seduction campaign in the capital’s hotels and bars Brussels, 8 October 2012 – From the 1st of November to the 31st of December, the "Bubbles in Brussels" campaign will put the sparkle into some of the best hotel bars in the capital. For two months, these institutions will offer an ebullient and effervescent champagne tasting deal. Having tasted three different vintages, the customer will select their favourite, which will be served in a flute, accompanied by an appetizer . The promoters of this initiative are the Brussels Hotels Association (BHA), which brings together the hospitality industry in Brussels, and Food for Thought (& Drinks for Fun), consisting of the catering managers of the capital’s starred hotels. This light and airy campaign is part of the culinary year Brusselicious 2012, which will thus end in style with the popping of champagne corks. Hotels with a bar and/or restaurant must submit their candidacy with the BHA. According to its organisers, the seduction campaign clearly sets out to celebrate hotel bars as great places to go out and meet friends in Brussels. For this sixth edition of "Bubbles in Brussels”, hotel bars will offer a tasting formula at € 19 per person. Carte d'Or, Brut nature and Rosé: three Drappier vintages will take pride of place. Paired with the champagnes offered, the appetizers will include chicory, shrimp and/or speculoos biscuits, three ingredients that have been very much in favour during Brusselicious 2012. What better way to delight your taste buds in a festive atmosphere! With the support of VISITBRUSSELS and the Drappier Champagne House.
